FOLK+FIBER is a fabric store and a place to learn the art of sewing in the center of Haarlem. The inviting boutique pays homage to textiles and crafts from diverse corners of the globe. Curated with attention to detail by owner Gina, who, in addition to her role as an art director, has embarked on a journey to redefine the realm of fabrics.
According to Gina, we should embrace the art of sewing more because it sparks a deeper connection to what we wear. If you make your own clothes you are more likely to take good care of it since you’ve invested a lot in to it. In order to create something long-lasting it is of importance that you work with quality materials. Therefore FOLK+FIBER exclusively sells natural fibers such as lovely European flax linens, ecological fabrics, designer deadstock and so on. Beyond offering an array of fabrics and haberdashery, the boutique is also hosts sewing lessons and creative workshops. Keep on eye on our calendar for upcoming events.

FOLK+FIBER focusses on natural fibers. Comfortable to wear, soft on your skin and gentle to the planet. From regular muslin, GOTS cotton, tencel, European Linen, Ecovero Lenzing to wool or viscose, you'll find something of quality.
